Note from the Chairman - Jan 2022
Unfortunately there was no AGM this year so it falls to me to wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2022 and tight lines for the coming seasons.
Some of you may have already heard that Eamon O'Rourke has retired from the position of Chairman after his “long season” between 2006 and 2021 and our thanks go out to him for his excellent work and dedication to the club.
It’s my pleasure to have taken over the role of Chairman and for those of you that don’t already know me, please feel free to introduce yourself if we meet. There are over 150 members in the club so it’s hard for me to remember everyone, but I’ll certainly try my best.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on the committee for their efforts and excellent help in running this club to a high standard. And my thanks also goes to those people that turn up for the work parties and the stocking days…your assistance is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
On that note please make all efforts to assist in the development of this club…your club. If you can make a work party or a stocking day then come along and assist. The work party days are especially labour intensive and it takes considerable time and effort to have the important straw booms made and then towed out onto the lake. If this job wasn’t done then the lake would become saturated with algae and your fishing would deteriorate greatly to the point of a cease in fishing.
If you wish to put your name forward for your availability for any future work then even better, and it would enable me to have a reliable list of people to call upon when needed.

2022 AGM Cancelled
Hello All,
Due to an upsurge in the number of COVID (Omicron) cases and the projected spike over the next few weeks, the Committee have decided to postpone the AGM that was arranged for 20/01/22 in Denvirs.
